The UK’s new care champion

Care Rights UK's new brand

Civic’s new name, brand and website for Care Rights UK is empowering this fantastic charity to take the fight to Parliament while supporting more people having problems with care.

With the system in crisis, too many people living in care don’t have their needs met, or their rights respected.

Care Rights UK, which used to be known as the Relatives & Residents Association (R&RA), wanted to clarify its support offer and increase the impact of its campaigning. The goal was to reach more people and provide more support, while lobbying for important changes to the Law, such as Gloria’s Law.

During the brand process, R&RA also joined forces with the Rights for Residents campaign, which now operates as the campaigning voice of Care Rights UK.

Problems with care? We’re here for you

People experiencing poor quality care often feel anxious and overwhelmed and don’t know where to turn. Care Rights UK fills the gap by providing clear and accessible information, as well as emotional and practical support, to help people know their rights as well as navigating the complexities of the care system.

Our new brand delivered a warm and engaging visual style and tone of voice, which positions Care Rights UK as ‘your care champion’. Civic worked with Liz Elcoate, who delivered a lovely yet distinctive visual style and photographer Jacky Chapman provided the gorgeous new brand photography.

Care Rights UK went live in June 2023 and we are looking forward to seeing Care Rights UK have an even bigger impact as it reaches more people with its clear, engaging and very important new service offer.
